Yesterday Joanna treated us lunch at Toa Payoh. It's so paiseh lah, everyday got colleagues treat us during lunch. I really appreciated it alot, especially Joanna. She's actually the cutest colleague I've ever known. Though we are in completely different departments, she's still so nice & close to us. She's a mother of one, and I know she's working hard to support her family. Yup yup... Parents are so noble...

CY, JW, Blaise & I went Serangoon Sports Hall for Badminton. BD pang seh us, because he needed to go back home to pack his stuffs for Saturday's activation. BD & JW said they will wear house T, then one didn't go & one forgot!!! I wore the stupid banana yellow Gamma hse T lah...OMG...
Blaise went back IBM to return his thinkpad, so he was late. CY & I played with JW at first, my Badminton skills just sux. Hahahha...I just can't play sports that requires me to use an equipment, e.g. tennis, table tennis or squash. So it was very funny lah, I keep missing it & made so many jokes. After that, I paired up with JW and CY with Blaise, and we played double. hahahaha... Super funny because of me & my weird actions. I think if anyone want to have a good laugh can ask me out for badminton. LOL. Anyway, the lame part was me & JW keep saying, 友谊第一，比赛第二。- Friendship comes before competition. I think we are still at the hyper camp mood, thinking about silly dances and cheers. JW & I were even singing, "you put your left leg in, you put your left leg out, you put your leg in, & you shake it all about. You do the... ..." Hahahaha...

Yesterday was also the day CY & JW "patch up". As in, JW got "ditch", then he say he got no face, so ask CY to let him "ditch" her. LOL. So they "patched up", so the super mushy stuffs came back. Example, 你的就是我的，我把球打给你。Hahaha... super funny... I was laughing & laughing all the way...

After tt we went to buy Bubble Tea, since JW owe CY 2 BBT and Blaise still owe me 1...This BBT is for the France VS Italy Finals...Italy won...hahaha... But I still owe Blaise 1 drink at Coffee Club because I lost during the semi-finals when Germany VS Italy. Haizzzzzzz... *sad* So in the end rite...I lost 2 semi-finals bets & won the 3rd placing & finals bets...

Then, we went compasspoint for dinner because Serangoon got nothing to eat. Hahaha...went food court, because no FAST FOOD pls... LOL... Then accompany CY to get her bag she bought online. It differs from the one she saw online, today might be going Bugis to change another bag. Yup, while I need to get some casual wear to school. My office wear cannot wear liao lah, plus some I think I can wear out but abit weird to school. It's still best to wear simple & feel comfortable.

Yesterday Margaret, Wendy, Louise, Angeline & Doreen treated us to mac, but too bad I can only eat Salad, corn & fries. Hahahaha... But still appreciated it alot, because it's so fortunate to have food so we cannot take it for granted. We took many pictures in the office, especially the 5 of us, totally crazy. After that in the evening, CY & I went jogging at punggol since my tuition was postponed to friday nitex. Slept quite late last nite because I was chatting with my OG mates, finally we came up with an OG outing on Monday! Hahaha...



Today went Toa Payoh for lunch at the Hub. BD, Blaise & I went to apply for our tertiary EZlink card. After that I went to apply for my giro, when I wanted to apply for Campus Debit, the lady told me I got to close my Savings and apply for the new acct. Wah sianz, so I queued for the acct opening for like 20mins, then they told me I need my matric card! But the gd news is I don't need to close my savings acct. I can just apply for my campus account anytime, yeah!!! V
Later in the evening going for Badminton at Serangoon Sports Hall. What an exciting week!!! Hahaha... Healthy Lifestyle...

I was late for work yesterday because I couldn't wake up, missed the company bus from Compasspoint. I had to walk to take 136 to work, luckily met CY on the way, so it's not that boring afterall.

Boss treated us at Thai Express...so touched... I thought got nothing, since I've worked for 6++ mths, there was no company events or dinner during CNY etc. Hahaha...didn't expect I still got farewell dinner...guess I need to thank the guys for that because their PR skills are very good... Bought the hawaiian choco I bought for my SP, because I cannot resist the temptation. I didn't eat it but ate the ferrero rocher Dylan gave me.

In the evening went to meet Yeelin with JW & BD, went some Ulu place for vegetarian food (to compromise BD). After that we went Geylang for "Yong He dou jiang", saw Waysi, Terry & Yenmei there. Hahaha...when fellow AHS met BD...then we realised BD and WS were from harmonica. This is so funny, that's how connections and links come about, complicating relationship. LOL. After that we went to eat Durians, D24 I think. I think I'm going to become fat soon...

Saturday... ...

Woke up at 9+am even though I still wanna sleep because IMI agency really called the day before and wanted me & GY down for interview. So got to wake up early so that I'll reach Parkmall by 11.30am. I didn't really bother to dress up, wore jeans and T-shirt. Hahaha...looked more casual then any other days. I didn't even bother to wax my hair. GY was late for like 30mins because she overslept. It was nothing actually because it's just an interview that we were not interested in. So, we went in, filled up the form and started reading magazine. There were 2 gals in there at first and then 3 came after that. The 2 gals went in for the interview and phototaking for quite some time. Then we felt that we were quite lousy in the room. hahaha... I got no idea why, but then still, I don't think I'm the one. Moreover, modelling it's not my cup of tea. It was like 12.30pm already and my driving was at 1pm, so it gave us a very good reason to leave the agency. The guy incharge wanted to reschedule another interview on monday but we refused. So, we just left and headed for YCK. GY went for a haircut while I went for my driving lesson.

My 7th driving lesson (supposed to be the 10th if I didn't injured my left knee), was quite bad at 1st, I stalled once before leaving YCK MRT. Haizzzz...But after that it wasn't that bad. Next Saturday I'm going to book my practical test date liao!!! Yeah...in december so that it's during the hols and there's no class!!!

After that met GY again and we went causeway point to shop. Actually it's just window shop, look around, walk around, our main purpose was to chit chat. I still feel that GY is the one I can talk to regarding relationships at ease. Even though I didn't update her about anything these 6 mths, I can easily summarise everything and let her know every detail about what was going on. I've gone through quite alot this year, I just felt very lucky to have my friends around me. I had Jas to console me during the painful days, I had Von to ask me out for shopping to do shopping therapy with me, I had YW to turn to when I need her & I had JW & BD to give me advices when I felt lost.

I'm so fortunate to have so many friends around supporting me...

After FWC, I went home to rest and went to meet YW and the rest at Somerset MRT. I was very very happy when I saw GY, it's like been 6 mths since I saw her. Miss her so much!!! We then headed to Cineleisure while MT & MQ met us after that. On the way the agent from IMI asked GY and me for number, we were reluctant to give her our number, but in the end we still did.

We sat there for more than 2 hours talking about the camps we went, about SP and about lame jokes. The "this is a string, this is not a string, is this a string?", "around the world in 60 days", "EATING AT SAKAE SUSHI", "Shou Ya Bean = Soya Bean" etc... It was a lame nite...

After that Chin came to meet us. My beloved son went to Jolin's Activity and pon his 1st Jap class!!! Haizzzzz... dunno how to control my son liao... Son, I give up!
We walked to Istana Park, took some pictures and went home because I got work the next day and Nette & I were shagged.

I'm back!!!

Blogging at this hour because I couldn't wake up for work this morning!!! But going for work later, meeting JW for lunch at Bishan later, so gonna go out soon...Guess will continue during work or after work or even tml...Heex... Enjoyed myself alot...not really because of the camp activities but it's the company of the new friends I made there, they are really nice & crappy. Our group didn't have any problem, which is why it's very very fun! NO disagreements, NO complains!


= FWC'06 =

~Day 1

Got to reach NUS by 9am, I thought I could be early but I only reached there on time. Last Sunday Mich & Von still told me that alot of ppl in union camp etc got blonde or copper hair, so mine is considered ok. Haizzzzz...but who noes lah...it's not really ok! Ppl there only got highlighted or dark brown hair!!! I looked so out of place! It's a failure lah, I didn't want the colour to look so obvious, but I respect my hairstylist's opinion. *sad* I need to wait for abt 1 mth before the copper brown sets in.

Hahaha...I get to know Clara first at the LT. Actually Clara was also the 1st person I saw that morning because we actually took the same bus! Yupx!! After that was Chew Xia, Ming Hui & Guangyi. Then Ming hui & Guangyi realised their bday falls on the same day! After that we went for some ice-breaker games, start memorising everybody's name, including the councillors. After that we went for dance practice and finally for the Food Hunt in NUS. Haha...so now I noe where's the famous ARTS FAC food court, the Business food court & the Prata House for Supper. Yummy!!! After that we headed straight for Sentosa and gathered at the Sapphire Pavilion. We rested, had some games and had dinner. Then we had our SP interaction along the beach. Blind-folded and sat along the beach with my SP, chatted for dunno how long. The councillors ask us whether we wanted to play a game, so we agreed. I'm suppose to feed him with kit kat and then bite a piece of kit kat while kit kat is in his mouth. Luckily I can sort of see wad's going on, so bite a small piece from the kit kat. After that, we said lame jokes, played Indian Poker etc. Those who got the smallest and biggest card had to do forfeit. Adec our councillor had to do forfeit twice in a row. I remembered he had to do it with Junhao once, kissing on the cheek I if I'm not wrong. Haha... Then there's once when Sze Khing had to lick MH's nose, and another one where GY had to carry Liling and knock on the door of a room to ask the person to lend him her room (because he needs it badly). LOL...
After that, we went back to our rooms to rest while waiting for our fright night. I was watching the TV with the rest of the girls till they all fell asleep, Kaiwen didn't come back with MH so LL and I went to looked for her. In the end we end up in the councillors' room chatting because the rest of the guys & KW went to 7-11 to get supper! Never ask me to go loh, so sad...

After that we went for our Fright Night at about 2am, took us about 5mins ride there and 15mins walk into the forest before we reach the place. Then, we walked in three, and had to be "scare" by the "ghosts". It's quite fun actually, the old buildings, the settings was really good! But it's not really that scary because it wasn't very dark that night, and maybe the seniors were really tired after repeating for SO MANY TIMES!! So it's actually not bad lah... It did scare me, but there's no need to shout or scream...

Then we went back to our chalet to bath, but it's so small. So some of us went downstairs to bath while the rest used the toilet in the room. After I bathed, Nette wanted to hang her towel to dry outside and she discovered that her towel was used as the floor mat in the toilet! We got no idea who did it, but then it's not very nice to know that someone used the bathing towel as the floor mat. In addition, it's very cramp in the room. So me, MH & Clara went downstairs for our supper - cupnoodles our OGLs bought for us. After that we slept on the tanning chair by the swimming pool. Our Vice-directors keep asking us to go to their room to sleep as they got place, but we didn't want to. In the end, Mingyi lend us a blanket so that we are kept warm and safe from the mosquitos.

~Day 2

We had breakfast and then went over to the Sapphire Pavilion for Dance. After that we had our lunch and then our Amazing Race started! We went all around Sentosa, completing every station. It's very tiring!! My legs were aching, seriously it's the first time I ran after my leg recovered from the injury. The route we took was quite jialat, from Siloso to Palawan, to Siloso, to Cable Car centre etc... *Tired*

After that we came back for Dance, and then Dinner, before we had Speed Dating. It's like everyday get to know new guys. Hahaha... because of SDU...

After tt we had our Night Treasure Hunt... went to my favourite store - 7-11 (Or rather yauqwees fav store, esp the one opp TJ) to get some cup noodles, pocky & yogurt drink...LOL...We played "ouch ouch orbi orbi"...got bruises on both my arms. Mum was like asking me what happened when I got back on thursday. *PAIN*
It was a very long day because we had dance practice after that. We changed room that night from 202 to 211.

~ Day 3

Morning we had 15 minute challenge, then beach games. We ran about for all the fun activities. It's been a long time since I played Frisbee! Miss the days playing it with 35/04 peeps esp. the time when we were practising for inter-house sports carnival. Hahaha...

The piggy back game...I feel quite bad during the game, I think I'm a burden loh...LOL...

After that we had lunch, then proceed with our wet games!!! Water VolleyBall, Human Transport etc...It's really very very fun!!! I think 3rd day had the BEST GAMES and I enjoyed myself most on that day too!!! Yup...with the crazy things we do...like dumping the OGLs into the sea...trying to do SOMETHING to Adec...LOL...
After that, Clara, LL, CX and I went swimming in the pool while waiting for the bathrooms.

It's the SP Night! We all changed into our "casual formal" wear, which I think mine looks more like casual. Hahaha... anyway, we made our way to our various venues to wait for our SP. I bought the Hawaiian Dark Chocolate covered with Macadamia, Mingyi said that it's very nice. Now I feel like getting it for myself. Yum Yum! So, finally met my SP - Yi Feng. (No idea how come I know so many guys wif the word Feng in the name) But anyway, it's very nice talking to him. I think he's the quiet kind, not like me, talk so much. Hahahaha... I don't talk to strangers or people whom I'm not familiar with, but if I know you well enough I think you'll just want me to shut up! Heex... We had dinner together, then YF was chosen to go on stage for a competition - to get as many kisses as possible. Yup...and he won himself a ticket to MOS. I think he's a very nice SP, compared to those that SP, MQ, Von & Mich told me previously. Then it was the pageant, SK and MH were our nominees. MH looked very pretty that night, the couple looked very cute too. Funniest thing was the guys shouted "lick, lick, lick" when both of them were on the stage. Anyway, SK won the pageant and did SOLEIL PROUD!!!

After the SP night, we went back to the chalet, and had cup noodles and played Violent Heart Attack. Then everyone was asked to go up to our room one by one, to answer truthfully what they think of the opposite sex. Well, it's kind of strange because we only knew each other for like 3 days, and character wise it's really hard to determine. We then changed our venue to the beach.

So in the end we chatted till 5.30am before deciding to go to bed.

~ Day 4

It's the first morning that the guys came down before us, guess because there's morning call from me that morning. Hahahaha... the one that woke them up from their sweet dreams. LOL...

We had our prize presentation, took some photos at the Sapphire Pavilion and headed back to Singapore for lunch. The OG went Dragon Gate for Dim Sum Buffet which I found it not bad. (I decided to bring my dad there on his birthday, ha...)

Looking forward…

I’m looking forward to Saturday! I’m going to colour and highlight my hair, with what colour I got no idea. But the thing is choosing the colour and shades of my choice and covering my ugly grey hair! Exciting morning, new hair colour, new look! Heex…

But what I’m looking forward the most is meeting up y2 & ms for lunch & shopping after my doing my hair. It’s been like 1 or 2 months since we went out I think, so I really miss their company very much. We are going back to our favourite hang-out when we are in primary school, Tampines Street 21 for lunch. I’ve planned our lunch venue already, we'll have lunch with ms's mum and have it at the coffee shop with my favourite minced meat noodle with pig's liver. Yeah!!! After that we will head to TM or town to get sy's bday present, I think I should bring my camera too to take some nice photos to put on my friendster. I think I lack of nice photos with ms, the photos she took with me placed on the friendster was quite ugly. I looked so fat in the picture! Of maybe it's just because ms is too thin?! Haizzzzzzz... I must start my healthy lifestyle again!

Pre-camp preparations ...

It's been a very long time since I go for a camp, the last one should be last year June (TJ CO Camp) i think. But it's not a camp organised for me, it's a camp we seniors planned & carry out for the juniors. So the last true official camp organised for me is the Leo Club June Camp i guess. Hmmm...which is in June 2004!!! That's so long ago!!! So it's really been a very very long time since I enjoy myself with the total fun & crazy activities during camps! Miss the days!! Heex... Have been organising & carrying out camps activities as OGLs and Group Leaders for so long, totally forgot the feeling of looking forward for an adventurous & fun-loving days under the SUN!!

Camps Attended:

1998:

Primary 5 OAC at Punggol. Activities like High Elements, Canoeing etc & we sleep beside the canoes because it was raining heavily.

2000:

Sec 1 Orientation Camp in CCHS. Activities like ice-breakers, amazing race etc.

2001:

Sec 2 OAC at CCK. Activities like High Elements, Canoeing etc & we sleep in tents. Still remember singing Oldies like 给我一个吻，我要你的爱，爱我别走 for our performance.

MOE CO Camp at TCH. It's a camp that didn't require any physical training except sitting there for practices from 8am to 5pm with a short lunch & tea break in between. But I got to know friends from other schools which is very rewarding. We had a performance at NYG at the end of the camp.

Counsellor Camp in CCHS. Activities like amazing race, wet games etc & we sleep in classrooms, making 3 tables as a "bed". We earn our own food through games, the winner gets more canned food then the rest and we cook using the fuels and tins.

East Zone DYB 低音部 Camp in NASS. It's a camp for all cellists and bassists studying in the East to gather and play music together. It's the very first concert that my parents came to support.

2002:

Counsellor Camp in CCHS. It's the usual annual council camp, but it's always the most fun one. It's just because of the people. We play with flour, water etc.

East Zone CO Camp in DHS. It's the camp that I met alot of nice & fun cellists whom I still keep in touch now. It's the 1st time performing in VCH too.

2004:

First Orientation Camp in TJ. My OG is very very fun!!! We played, we laughed, we worked hard to gain every single point! We even performed during the O Nite. Hahahaha...The lame performance, S.H.E with brooms dancing SUPERSTAR...hahaha...with Shufang & Uen Chun. The guy's basketball tricks & the advertisements acted out.

Second Orientation Camp in TJ. It's not so much of fun, because my classmates are so boring during the camp. I was thinking that I would be bored to death in the class. hahaha...but I was wrong... They kept me entertained for the rest of the 2 years, even till now. LOL.

TJCCO Camp. It's the worst camp that I've ever gone to. I got very bad experience with my seniors, which till now I still don't really like them. I just felt that they are hypocrites, and the kind which think that they are very capable. Well, I believe in leadership. But I just don't agree in the way how CO exco works, because most of the people who got the top post were due to their good skills & good relationship with exco. It's the politics which I don't like. Thank them for giving me such a bad experience, that's why I appreciated my friends in Leo Club so much.

Leo Club - June Camp. It's the fun, the running about, the silly stuffs we do in public and the encouragement I get from my Group. It's the group with the most cooperations!!! Miss u guys!!!

Camp Voyage in TNS. It's the P4 having a 3D2N camp in school. YW & I volunteered to help out the Marlins to guide the kids. We had pre-camp, and worked with the rest of the Group Facilitators. Some were from CCHS like Stefanie, Khai Wan & Keat Meng, while the rest are from TJ like me & Hui xian. We had lots of fun together because we trusted each other alot, be it in games or the lower elements. I think that's also the reason why we were still having fun even though the little ones were giving us trouble. We will just sit there in the middle of the night and talk about what happened that day and which kids were giving us troubles. The kids were like little devils in the day, but when you see them sleep at night, they are little angels and then you will just forget the anger. I think it's the most challenging camp I've ever been to. Besides taking care of myself, I need to take care of other 7 girls, while my partner Marcus (Big)need to take care of the rest of the boys. We carried their bags for them during the amazing race in ECP, helped them during dragon boating and ensured their safety at CDANS. I miss little marcus & annabella.

December Street Camp in TJ. It's a 3 Days camp organised by TJ Leo Club for the kids living in Bedok. Me and my fellow facilitators had to take care of 15 kids, luckily I had a group of very caring & patience facilitators. If not, we will have a difficult time handling the kids. Our group was Group 5 - fairies. We had to come out with a performance on the last day when all the parents would come to watch their kids perform. So we came out with the fairies + 3 little pigs story. It's so cute lah... Hahahaha...

2005:

TJCCO Camp. I went back with my fellow cellists & bassists to help out during the camp and met some seniors too. During the husting I was doing some Maths qns at the back of the room, and I got complained by my seniors. Whatever. So I went to the canteen to continue with my work.

BACK TO SCHOOL... ...


There's so much stuffs to settle & do before school reopens in August! So it's very troublesome!!! Medical Checkup, Payment, Camps to attend & so on... ...

But I'm all ready for school! With the back to school mood NOW!!! Missed school so much!!! When I actually think back, I've always wanted to take the shortest route in Education. Wanting to complete Primary school in 6 years, Secondary School in 4 years, Junior College in 2 years & University in 4 years, so that my years in Education will be merely 16 years! Now to think of it, another 4 years and I will complete my Education, I think I'll definitely miss school!!! *Sigh* School life is so much better than working life, that's what I learnt in my 6 months working life. I used to think that working and studying don't really make much different. At least there's no homework for temporary staff like me!!! Yes!!! This is the only "happy" part about my work right now.

Actually right now, I think I'm a kid that's been exploited. I'm doing cheap labour right now. Perhaps many will think that the job I'm offered with has a slightly better rate, which is very true. But what my friends & I are doing are somewhat the contract and permanent staffs are doing, but our pay is only half of what they are earning. Take YW for example, she's covering what a permanent staff is doing, having the same stress level as her other colleagues, not allowed to do OT (which increases her pay by 1.5 times per hour after the usual office hour) & the worst, cannot take leaves as she like. No Medical leaves & No Staff benefits. It's so bad!!! *Sigh again*


Yesterday I went to NUS for my medical checkup, the Urine test, Body checkup, Eye Check, Height & Weight measurements and X-ray! It feels quite weird because it was my first time going for medical checkup. In addition, I had to wake up at 6.45am so that I can reach NUS by 8.30am. But of course, I was late. It was the office hour, everyone was rushing to work. The LRT was full, the NEL was packed with people, the East-West Line too, not to forget the bus to NUS!!! I actually stood for 1 hour 20 minutes from the very moment I left my house. *Tired* So when I reached the Medical Centre I was tired and confused. I had to find my way around at Yusof Ishak House. Lucky got Von & Lynnette with me! So it wasn't that boring at the Medical Centre. After the X-ray, Nette & I were told that we can go off. When we stepped out of the X-ray centre on the 5th level, we met Guideng again. Our 1 year Senior, I think. So we went to meet the rest & paid for the camp. Found my seniors really interesting, as in they ask weird questions, like "Do you want to leave ur email with us?" So I actually asked if they want our email instead. Since they are organising our camp, if he finds that there is a need to leave our email, we odd to cooperate with him. So we left our emails, and went walking around the Arts & Social Science, Central Library etc. After that, Dad came to pick us up.

We went to the DBS at AMK to settle my Tuition Fee Loan. The interest rate right now is 4.75%. There maybe some adjustments after 4 years. But then it's alright, at least I had settle my Tuition Fees. All I have to do now is go for the 'Funtasea' camp & enjoy, wait for school reopen & pay my balanced Tuition Fees. I think I'm 70% ready for school! What else do I need to do before school reopen?? Hmmm... I think I need to do something about my hair, so that it looks neat when school reopens. I also need to go to the ticket office to make my tertiary EZlink... Hunt for a Laptop... & I think I'm ready for school!!!

Looking forward to the camp from 17 - 20 July at Sentosa! It's all fun under the SUN!! I can do some exercise running around, enjoy my days & hang around with my course mates!!! It's FUN, FUN & MORE FUN!!!



School days will be so much more fun! I'm going to concentrate in my studies, my extra curriculum activities, my lively & yauqwee friends, my family & nothing more. It's best to concentrate in just one or two things at a time.

There's so much uncertainties ahead. I can only see what is happening 4 years down the road. But the future, it can't be seen. It's just too much uncertainties and insecurity. But I believe I can walk into the future alone, if not, with my family.

University life is going to be a fresh start for me after I've let go of what I've been holding on to for the past 5 years. I'm so so so tired with the previous way of leading my life. I'm going to enjoy my current lifestyle for some time. The lifestyle where I don't need to take someone into consideration when I'm making a major decision in my life, or to rearrangement my timetable & reduce my resting time just to make time for someone.
